Meet Susan Grandfield

I have always been fascinated by people and what makes them do the things they do (aren’t we all!).  Ever since my first jobs sorting mail in the Post Office one summer and waiting tables at The Derby Cafe on a Saturday, I have been interested by the spectrum of  behaviour people can display and intrigued as to why some people appear to be happier, more contented and achieve more success than others.

That is why I decided to study Psychology and have a career in Human Resources and Learning and Development before setting up my own people development business in 2010.

Over the years, I have worked with thousands upon thousands of people in different capacities; as a trainer, coach, facilitator, mentor, advisor and colleague.  I have amassed an extensive amount of knowledge and understanding about human behaviour, and there is one overriding fact that sticks out for me and that is….

“everyone is unique and has the potential to achieve great things, you just have to find out what makes them tick”.

That is the principle that I work and live by now and it drives how I work with my clients and run my business.

My fascination with people is enduring and every year I invest in learning more and developing new skills.  Some of the most effective tools in my toolkit include:
